Trabuco Canyon Resident Re-Elected Veep of State Board of Pharmacy

A Trabuco Canyon resident has been re-elected vice president of the California State Board of Pharmacy.

Amy Gutierrez, Pharm.D., was appointed to the Board in 2012. She has been chief pharmacy officer and director of pharmacy at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services since 2006.

Prior to that, she served in multiple positions with the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services from 1984 to 2006.

She has been an adjunct professor of clinical pharmacy at the University of Southern California, School of Pharmacy since 2002 and has been an adjunct professor of pharmacy at Western University College of Pharmacy since 2010.

Gutierrez earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California, School of Pharmacy.
