The outreach program is intended to allow other non-believers and/or skeptics to know that there are communities in Orange County to join and discuss cultural and political issue that are important to secularists.
This meetup isn't for everyone, but if you like practicing your communication skills and enjoy exercising your First Amendment rights, you will like a day at the pier. We had a blast two weeks ago talking about our world-view to non-theists and believers alike. Everyone was friendly and many questions were asked and answered.
Wear sunscreen and a hat. We'll have some posterboards to display. We might be lucky enough to talk with Ray Comfort, the evangelistic open-air preacher from The-Way-of-the-Master ministries.
