Preschool Fair Gets Postponed by 'R-A-I-N, Rain'

Ten area preschools were to gather in Rancho Santa Margarita as part of National School Choice Week.

A preschool fair scheduled for Saturday at Central Park has been postponed because of the inclement weather, according to organizers.

"A Day in the Park" was scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. as a means of entertaining kids with age-appropriate activities and answering questions about curriculum from curious parents.

But wet grounds—even if it wasn't raining—would simply be too messy and irresponsible.

No word yet on when the event will be rescheduled, but schools expected to attend are: Mission Hills Christian, St. John's Episcopal, Tutor Time, Country Village RSM, Country Village Foothill Ranch, Grace, Kingdom Kids, Saddleback Children’s Center, My Gym RSM and Rancho Viejo Montessori.

The event was to be part of National School Choice Week. It is sponsored by Mission Hills Christian School.
