RSM Intermediate Is Pajama-Free

Sleeping attire cannot be worn on campus, but there was a rumor that Friday was PJ Day. It wasn't.

Dr. Richard Jameson, the principal of Rancho Santa Margarita Intermediate, has a decent enough sense of humor. But when word got around that Friday was Pajama Day at his school, he did everything he could to make sure no students showed up on campus wearing sleeping attire.

If they fell asleep in history, they couldn't do it in their PJs.

Jameson reported that the word got out and that none of the students at RSM Intermediate showed up wearing an unapproved wardrobe.

So how did the rumor start that Friday was the day for students to wear pajamas to school, which would be in violation of the dress code.

Jameson shared his theory with Patch.

"I'm sure the rumor started with a question and evolved something like this," Jameson said.

"Student A: 'Is this Friday a spirit day?'
"Student B: 'I hope it's pajama day!'
"Student C: 'What, Friday is pajama day?'
"Student D: 'Oh, cool everybody, Friday is pajama day!!!' "

Martin, If you are going to throw religion into the caption, please don't discourage it. I thinkRead More it was amazing how far into the playoffs they got and it seems by saying the words "prayers go unanswered" is a negative remark. We should be proud of them for being the underdogs regardless if they won or not.

I'm still waiting for the teachers to produce a receipt for purchases made with MY money.Read More Asking/requiring donations of $20-25.00 a head in a 32 kid classroom is a nice $800.00 potential windfall of which I see nothing of where that $$ is spent.
