Submitted by Wendy Rueter:

On Sunday, May 18, Mission Hills Christian School rallied the community of RSM to set a new world record for the most people going down two inflatable water slides in two hours.

Kids of all ages, as well as adults, made history while enjoying the refreshing splash of the water slides in the beautiful afternoon sunshine, culminating in a record 1,975 trips down the giant slides.

T.K. Burger and Snowie Shaved Ice provided taste treats for the occasion which was also attended by RSM Mayor Pro-Tem Brad Girr and former Mission Viejo mayor Rhonda Reardon.

Principal Carrie Gulino said, “I am grateful to everyone from Mission Hills Christian School and from the city of RSM who helped us make history today. This was a great way to connect with the families in our area and build on our wonderful sense of community.”

The record will be submitted to RecordSetter.com.
