Boys Basketball: Santa Margarita 53, Orange Lutheran 49
Trinity League: Eagles get big efforts from Devonte Klines and Joe Furstinger.
Santa Margarita won its second consecutive Trinity League game on Wednesday with a 53-49 victory over Orange Lutheran.
Devonte Klines and Joe Furstinger led the Eagles with 14 points apiece. Fursting was especially impressive, going six of eight from the field. He also had nine rebounds before fouling out of the game.

Brett Oosdyke added 10 points, and Sjur Berg had six points and eight rebounds against the visiting Lancers (9-9, 1-2).
A year ago, Santa Margarita went winless against Trinity League opponents.
The Eagles (12-4, 2-1), ranked No. 9 in Orange County, play a big game on Friday when it travels to JSerra (10-6, 1-2) to play the seventh-ranked Lions.
