Joe Furstinger scored 25 points and had five rebounds to lead Santa Margarita Catholic to a 66-39 Trinity League victory Friday over Servite.
Furstinger, a 6-foot-8 forward who collected a team-high seven rebounds, connected on 10 of 13 shots from the field and four of five from the free-throw. Santa Margarita (11-4) won at home by scoring twice as many points as the Friars in the first and second quarters to build a 29-14 halftime lead.

The Eagles bounced back after losing to Mater Dei on Wednesday, 71-49, a game in which they trailed 44-43 going into the fourth quarter.
Santa Margarita plays host to Orange Lutheran on Wednesday.
