Cindy Farnum for Military Spouse of the Year

As one of hundreds who have been inspired by Cindy Farnum to give of ourselves to support our military, I'd like to ask everyone to do something today - cast a vote for RSM's Cindy Farnum, nominated for Military Spouse of the Year.

I couldn't put it better than my daughter Erika Sartain, a military spouse herself:

A friend of my family, Cindy Farnum, has been nominated for Military Spouse of the Year. It is a huge honor, and one of which she is so deserving. We met Cindy when she was a teacher at my elementary school, and she now does incredible work for military families through her non-profit organization, Operation Help a Hero, which is based in my hometown in CA.

When Marines come home to Camp Pendleton from deployments, for example, she rallies hundreds of volunteers to clean their barracks, decorate them, and provide welcome kits full of basic necessities. A comprehensive list of what OHH does can be found here.  I have seen these operations in action, and they are truly inspiring. The work Cindy does is so important, and the scale of the support she provides to military families through OHH is unbelievable.

I would be so grateful if you would take a second today to follow the link below and vote for Cindy. Voting is only open today, and it will take less than a minute to honor a woman who has made it her full-time job to support military families. As a military spouse, I can't imagine a better person to have this opportunity to speak and act on behalf of military families across the country.
