Operation Snack Pack - Mission Accomplished

Team 2/5 RSM was honored to work with some terrific, hard working volunteers on Saturday packing snack bags for the Marines of the 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines - RSM's adopted Marine Battalion - for their upcoming deployment.

We had volunteers from two local Boy Scout Troops and a few of their fathers, Lions Heart, and two very hard working young men from San Juan Hills High School. The Trabuco Hills High School Rotary Interact Club was exceptionally well represented. Several of RSM's community leaders, including Councilman Brad McGirr and his wife Julie and son Brady, and Vanessa Scarbo, Amaya Genaro, Patsy Morris, Julie Norman and Christine Holguin of The Bell Tower Foundation and Susan Kaye of SAMLARC, worked tirelessly. And we had the pleasure of working with several volunteers who have participated in Team 2/5 RSM events for the last several months. A very large OOHRAH to each of you for giving up your Saturday morning to help us support our adopted Marines!

Special thanks to the contributing organizations who made this great day possible, including The Bell Tower Foundation, Walmart Neighborhood Market, Arrowhead Water and Panera Bread. Thanks as well to the hundreds of kids and seniors who gave hand-written note cards for our Marines. Last, but nowhere near least, is the Community Outreach team of Applied Medical, who graciously gave of their time, energy, facilities and hearts to host Operation Snack Pack for us.

To each of you and all who played a role and gave your time and energy this morning, we're inspired by your generosity and support. And we're so very proud to be supporting our adopted 2/5 Marines, with honor, courage and commitment.

RETREAT HELL!
