It's A Fact, Jack (O'Lantern): Singing Pumpkin House is Back

Rancho Santa Margarita home gets the full treatment for Halloween.

By Martin Henderson

For the fourth year in a row, Scott Johnson's house in Rancho Santa Margarita will take on a life of its own. The two story dwelling is once again lit up with lights, providing visitors a chance to see Johnson's singing pumpkins.

The home is located at 8 Talega. Performances begin tonight, Oct. 18, and continue through Halloween with shows beginning every 30 minutes beginning at 6 p.m. The last show begins at 9:30.

Each show is different, said Johnson, who has added some new wrinkles to the automated performance.

The singing pumpkin house is free. Music can be heard on an FM car stereo.
