Seriously, It's Winter [Photos]

Maybe you've noticed, maybe you haven't. If not, you're forgiven. Check out the winter forecast and the cool photos.

It's been cold, for sure, but in Southern California it is often difficult to distinguish one season from the next. It's not like turning 30 and you suddenly are very aware of it.

But Saturday is the first day of winter. You should have seen it coming—the NFL is in full bloom and high school football is over, except for today's State Bowl Championship games that include Corona del Mar playing at noon and St. John Bosco playing at 8 p.m. The local schools have long since moved on to basketball, soccer and wrestling.

But if you didn't see it coming, if you took winter for granted like you do every other year because of the pleasant temperatures in Orange County, you're now on notice.

Here is a link to the official winter forecast. Can you say drought?

Of course you could. You've been through this before.
