What I heard at the Grand Prix is that Sato is inherently fast, and that's something you can't…Read More teach. Once he matures, you've got a winner. But some guys aren't inherently fast, and those are the ones who win fuel economy races. Agree with you, John, crashing out for the win on the last lap at the Indy 500 probably wouldn't bother AJ too much.

I played for Coach Bucher at Aliso. Great coach and great man. Excited for him.

My two cents: El Toro is a three-point shooting team. It had a good half, and it had a bad half.…Read More When you don't make your shots (as in the second half) you don't necessarily get a chance to set up on defense. It happened in the 1A finals at the arena, and happened in the second half against a very good Loyola team that is among the best in the state. Shooters shoot, and they keep shooting until their touch comes back. A shooting touch isn't a reflection on the coach. Turnovers against Loyola's pressure defense (after it started making some shots and had a chance to set up) hurt El Toro.
There's all kinds of bad things that happen on the basketball court when you don't score.

"Heavy sigh. I'm the moderator here."
Sorry, Penny. When you gave mfriedrich a positive…Read More response to his off-topic post I interpreted that as your encouragment of said discussion. It does get confusing at times from a poster's perspective. I sure you could understand that. :^)
"JustUs, while your comments don't violate TOU, they do get close."
It's uncanny that fact chucker can insult and provoke me and you don't name him specifically at all. But if I respond back in kind to his rude comments you name and admonish me. That is not what I would call an objective moderator. And if I violate your policies by observing and communicating the simple truth on this matter then do what you got to do. Just because you are a moderator you should not be allowed to play favorites here.
