Santa Margarita Market Place, also known to the local community as the Lowe's center, is located at the intersection…More of Santa Margarita Parkway and Avenida de Las Flores, across the street from Target. The center is adjacent to the Rancho Santa Margarita Town Center neighborhood and is within walking distance of City Hall, the Bell Tower Regional Community Center, Central Park and the Rancho Santa Margarita Library. The backside of the center's main building fronts the Foothill Transportation Corridor (Highway 241), and is easily accessible from the highway (toll road).</p> <p>Santa Margarita Market Place is home to a number of the city's largest retailers, including Lowe's, Big Lots, Staples, PetSmart, Verizon Wireless and Pier 1 Imports.</p> <p>The center boasts a food court with a large patio area that has become one of the most popular meeting places in Rancho Santa Margarita. Some of the restaurants sharing the outdoor seating are Rubio's Baja Grill, Starbucks, Pick-up Stix, Selma's, Philly's Best and the newly opened Spike's Fish House. </p> <p>Wendy's is situated opposite the Lowe's garden center.</p>

The Rancho Santa Margarita Library is one of 33 branches in the OC Public Libraries network. It serves the city of…More Rancho Santa Margarita and the unincorporated Coto de Caza area. The RSM library was remodeled in early 2010, as a part of OC Public Libraries' ongoing capital improvements program, with financial assistance from the non-profit Friends of the Library organization.</p> <p>The library includes a Quiet Room and Community Room, both of which are available for community use on a first-come, first-serve basis. The RSM library is also home to the Rancho Santa Margarita Friends of the Library bookstore.</p> <p>The Rancho Santa Margarita Historical Society meets in the Quiet Room of the library on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:15pm.</p>
